History

Established in 2007, with the aid of the Miles Foundation, the Liberty ISD Education Foundation is an independent, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to enhance the educational experiences of the Liberty public schools by fostering community support above and beyond what is provided by the district’s normal operating budget.

The Foundation works closely with the school system but is completely independent. Our Board of Directors consists of residents, retired educators and business people whose commitment to public education in Liberty is strong and in the best interest of every child in the school system. Each board member brings different skills and expertise and all members volunteer their time and services.

From Our President

Dear Friends,

There is no better way to help LISD students than by helping fund innovative teaching projects that benefit not only one student but many students year after year.

These opportunities are made possible by the generous donations from donors through Foundation grants.

The Foundation is excited to have been able to fund grants totaling over $325,000 since our inception in 2007.

Please know that your donations and continued support of the Liberty ISD Education Foundation provide engaging and inspiring experiences for students and teachers alike.

I look forward to another year of serving and am excited for the new opportunities the Foundation will be helping provide for Liberty ISD.

Thank you again for your support.

Sincerely,

Brandon Davis

President

Liberty ISD Education Foundation
